Girls just want to have fun

My friend Amanda came over the other day so we could play with each others babies. We put the babies in the crib and they just hung out, it was the cutest thing!

These are some of my favs from the photo shoot.

Halloween

We started out the day painting pumpkins because it's safer and easier to clean up then carving. Later that night we went trick-or-treating with some neighborhood friends. Isaac was a storm trooper, Myles a tiger and Lila was a bumble bee.  Good times were had by all!

Two Months

I guess time really does fly when you're having fun. Lila is already two months old and she's just as perfect as she was the day she was born. She's smiling, cooing and sleeping through the night. She's my little angel.

Professional Pictures

A photographer came to our house this weekend to photograph the kids and let me just tell you, she does amazing work. I was expecting her to show up with a nice camera and a tutu (prop for the baby). To my surprise, she walked in my door with several props, 2 background changes, her professional lighting, toys to make the kids laugh and a tripod. She turned my living room into a stuido. Also, she was great with the kids. I had a hard time getting Myles to smile but she turned on her charm and he was smiling in no time. Here are a few photos from our shoot: Lila's one month pic, Myles' 2 year pic and a pic of Isaac.

Dance Moves

Caution: before you watch this video you should know that no one was seriously injured. Myles takes a couple good spills because we didn't know the floor was wet. Notice how neither parent reacts when he falls.  FYI, Isaac must get his moves from his father because...well you'll see.

5 weeks old

I can't believe my baby girl is alreaday 5 weeks.  Seriously, she developed these rolls over night.  I guess her milkshakes are finally catching up with her:) 

Petting Zoo

We took the kids to a petting zoo this weekend in celebration of Myles 2nd birthday!  He absolutely loves animals, especially horses so we thought the petting zoo would be a good place to create a few memories for his 2 year old brain:)  The place was fairly clean for a petting zoo and surprisingly it didn't even smell too bad either.  The petting zoo rescues animals so there was a camel, a zonkey (zebra/donkey), ostrich and a few other exotic animals along with the standard animals you would find at a petting zoo.

Lila's Quilt

This beautiful quilt is made up of patches from Alva, Sigrid, Ingrid, Grandma Anne, Christine, Carol, Auntie Sue, and Lila's namesake Aunt Lila. Thank you ladies for this special gift, we love it!

I couldn't resist putting this lime green flower in her headband. I know it makes her head look small but it sure is adorable:)
